Phlebotomy
The Phlebotomy program is a one-semester program for juniors and seniors, with morning and afternoon class options. Students can earn up to 8 Yavapai College credits while making progress toward the Yavapai College Phlebotomy Technician Certificate. It is recommended that students take Certified Nursing Assistant during the opposite semester. Classes are held at the Yavapai College Clarkdale Campus.

Jayson Taddei, Yavapai College Instructor
Jayson Taddei is an Associate Professor for Yavapai College and teaches our Phlebotomy program. He has over 10 years of experience in phlebotomy, including supervising the Phoenix VA labs as a phlebotomist, where he gained valuable hands-on experience, leadership skills, and a strong understanding of patient care. His goal is to share his knowledge and experience with students while introducing them to the world of healthcare and specifically phlebotomy. He wants to help students build confidence in their skills, understand the importance of professionalism and compassion in healthcare, and to feel prepared to begin their own future in any career.
